– SE Polk Walk/Run Event at SE Polk High School.
8 to 9 a.m. Registration, 9 a.m. First Lap (Survivors), 11 a.m.
Closing (prayer & balloon send off). Sign up online today at
www.sepolkwalk.com. The event is $10 per person (no team fees),
teams and individuals still raise money for the American Cancer
Society as they did before but each person raising over $100 will
receive a Walk/Run t-shirt. Lots of food and fun! Walkers will be
on the track. Runners will be on the cross country track. Hope to

Central Place presents Jump Start Pre-Kindergarten Summer Session. Students entering
kindergarten this fall have a chance to get a "jump start" for
school. Central Place is sponsoring a five-week summer session
focusing on kindergarten readiness, "Jump Start". The session will
be Monday through Friday, June 9-July 11, 8 a.m.-2 p.m. (except July
