The return of the CAP Classic revisits a tale as old as Shakespeare, The Comedy of Errors! Thought to be one of Shakespeare’s earlier plays, this comedy deals with separated families and mistaken identity.
‘Tis the story of two sets of identical twins accidentally separated at birth. Antipholus of Syracuse and his servant, Dromio of Syracuse, arrive in Ephesus, which turns out to be the home of their twin brothers, Antipholus of Ephesus and his servant, Dromio of Ephesus. When the Syracusians encounter the friends and families of their twins, a series of wild mishaps based on mistaken identities lead to misadventures the likes of which only Shakespeare could have imagined!
Performances will be outdoors at Haines Park in Altoona July 27 – 30th. Evening performances at 7pm on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and a 2pm matinee on Sunday
In the event of rain or extreme heat, this event will move indoors to CAP Theatre.
