Evening in Olde Town

As we join with our city, community, and business partners on re-imagining the area of Olde Town, we want to celebrate the history of entrepreneurship, our agricultural foundation, and the beauty of what can be by hosting Evening in Olde Town Saturday, September 23rd from 6-8 pm at the Old Cannery Building on Intrinsic’s property at 102 1st Avenue North, Altoona.
This year we are hosting a full-on Country BBQ-style dinner!
Guests will enjoy keg beer and sweet wine while learning about the possibilities we have for redevelopment in Olde Town.
We’ll start the evening browsing old photos of Olde Town, seeing how far we have come. While also looking at plans for future redevelopment to see where we could go! At the conclusion of dinner, we will have a brief program including Executive Director Melissa Horton and Noah Wendt, partner of Intrinsic. As the evening slows down, we will enjoy warm pie for dessert.
During the entirety of the event, we will hear smooth tunes from Willie Mac & the Lost Cousins. We hope you can join us!
Tickets will be available Friday, July 28th at 10 AM and can be purchased on the Altoona Chambers website! Tickets will be $20/person and will include entertainment, a catered meal, event takeaways, giveaways, and more!
