Outlets of Des Moines is pleased to host ‘Share the Warmth, a Hat and Scarf Donation Drive’ to honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month from October 1 through October 17, 2021. Donations of new hats and scarves can be dropped off in the marked bins located at Eddie Bauer Outlet and Outlets of Des Moines’ Customer Service. Donations will benefit the patients of MercyOne Katzmann Breast Care (MercyOne.org/Katzmann).
“MercyOne Katzmann Breast center located within the Comfort Health Center for Women is an accredited, multidisciplinary, and comprehensive breast care center. Our physicians, nurse practitioners and support staff are dedicated to meet the needs of our patients undergoing cancer and non-cancer treatments,” says Dr. Susan Beck, breast surgeon with MercyOne Katzmann Breast Care. “The donation of hats and scarfs will give comfort to women during challenging health issues and stressful times,” she adds.
