Camp Dodge and World War II Presentation

Join us at the Altoona Area Historical Society as we welcome Mike Vogt from the Blue Star Museum for a special presentation on Camp Dodge and World War II.

He will present a slide show and share the story of Camp Dodge's role in the war, along with stories of the enlisted men who fought for our freedom. He'll also share insights into the camp's expansion during that time and the military training that took place there.

This is a great opportunity to learn more about the impact WWII had on our local history and the vital role Camp Dodge played in preparing soldiers for service.
